Mindwave Ventures (mindwaveventures.com) are rethinking, reshaping and redesigning how technology is used to create impact at scale within healthcare. The team are seeking a Project Manager to work on a digital project focusing on citizen access to health and social care information and resources. This project is a spin off from Mindwave’s personal health records programme and so will also include providing project management support across PHRs


Your responsibilities:

Reporting to the Product Manager – Personal Health Records, you will be liaising with multiple stakeholders and suppliers in the region, so there will be a lot of moving parts to coordinate.  On the Mindwave side, you will be working with our London and India based teams.
 

In collaboration with the Product Manager you will:

  • Meet with clients to take detailed project scopes and clarify specific requirements of each project

  • Work closely with the client Programme Manager, regularly reporting progress

  • Coordinate the tasks across research, design and development functions

  • Coordinate the activities of the Liverpool, London and India teams on this project

  • Track project performance, specifically to ensure the successful completion of short- and long-term goals

  • Monitor supplier relationships

  • Provide regular progress updates to client project teams

  • Create and maintain project documentation including: project plans; risk and issue registers; RASCI matrices; scoping documentation

  • Update and maintain project management software (Wrike)

 

Skills and experience – must haves:

The ideal candidate will be able to hit the ground running, quickly grasping complex briefs and managing projects simultaneously from start to end.

  • 3-5 years’ experience in project management or project support role.

  • Experience in a software development and/or healthcare environment

  • Advanced time management and analytical skills

  • Excellent client-facing communication skills

  • Excellent organisational skills

  • Able to work remotely as an individual as well as in a team setting

  • Proven experience working in deadline driven environments and be able to demonstrate an ability to remain 'unflappable' under pressure

  • Understanding of basic development and/or technical architecture principals or willingness to learn about the architecture of the PHRs

  • Must be willing to travel around the region (own car highly desirable) and travel outside of Liverpool on an occasional basis (e.g. to London office).

Skills and experience – Desirable:

  • Knowledge of Agile software development methodologies

  • PMI Certification

  • Knowledge of data protection and GDPR requirements, including producing
    data protection documentation
